Our Story
How Lighthouse Ministries began
Lighthouse Ministries began the way most honest work does — with a burden that would not go away. People in and around Hillsborough, New Hampshire were carrying things too heavy to carry alone, and there was no reason a small group of believers could not show up, learn their names, and stay.
What started as a handful of conversations grew into regular teaching, ongoing prayer, and the street outreach we now call Mission:58. The ministry has stayed deliberately simple: teach the Scriptures plainly, meet real needs, and keep the door open.

This verse is not a tagline for us. It is the reason the ministry exists. The darkness is real, and we do not pretend otherwise — but it has never once managed to put the light out.
Our Mission
Why we do this
To carry the light of Christ into everyday places — through clear Bible teaching, personal prayer, and practical help for neighbors who are hungry, struggling, or alone.

What we are working toward
Individuals who know they are not forgotten. Families strengthened rather than merely assisted. And a community in the Hillsborough area where the church is known for showing up — on sidewalks, in living rooms, and wherever the need is.
Leadership
The people behind the work
Lighthouse Ministries is led by Chris LaBrecque, who teaches the weekly messages published on the ministry’s YouTube channel and serves alongside the Mission:58 outreach team. The work is carried by volunteers — families, neighbors, and friends who give their time to teach, pray, cook, drive, and sit with people who need company.
